Lions Sight Research Foundation is always pleased and grateful when planned gifts are received. These gifts are used to maintain and expand Foundation programs. Gifts are typically placed in the Foundation Endowment Fund, where the  principal remains intact and earnings are used each year to support Foundation programs. A small portion of the earnings are used to fund current operations, fundraising efforts, and grant writing. The Foundation is administrated by a volunteer Board of Directors who serve without compensation.

The Lions Sight Research Foundation exists to assist in the fight to eradicate blindness and to support research to find cures for diseases of the eye. The Foundation is chartered in the State of Texas as a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization.
